Job Description:

Bison Infused, a leading cannabis manufacturing company specializing in the production of high-quality gummies, drinks, chocolates, cartridges, pre-rolls, and other cannabis-infused products, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented 1st Shift Processing Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Processing Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and precision of our production processes.

Responsibilities:

Product Manufacturing:

• Operate and oversee the machinery involved in the production of cannabis-infused products, including gummies, drinks, and pre-rolls, and more.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure the consistency and quality of each batch.
• Monitor and adjust equipment settings to meet production specifications.

Ingredient Handling:

• Accurately measure and weigh cannabis and non-cannabis ingredients for each batch.
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace, ensuring the proper storage and labeling of all materials.

Quality Control:

• Conduct regular quality checks on products during and after the manufacturing process.
• Report any deviations from quality standards and work collaboratively with the quality control team to address issues promptly.

Compliance and Safety:

• Adhere to all state and local regulations governing cannabis manufacturing.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay informed about industry best practices and compliance updates.

Documentation:

• Keep detailed records of production activities, including batch records, equipment logs, and inventory documentation.
• Assist in maintaining accurate records for compliance purposes.

Team Collaboration:

• Work collaboratively with other team members, including production staff, quality control, and management, to achieve production goals and maintain a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in cannabis processing or a similar manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measuring and recording data.
• Ability to follow SOPs and work in a highly regulated environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work 1st shift hours and occasional overtime as needed.
